EDGE Project

I volunteered for two basketball camps one at Southern Utah and another one at Inglewood High which I am alumni. My project focused on giving back my knowledge of the game of basketball back to the younger kids coming up in today’s generation. Todd Simon head coach of Southern Utah University was in charge of the camp at Southern Utah University. Patrick Roy my old high school coach was in charge of the camp at Inglewood High School. My job was during the camp was to be able to teach and coach the kids at the camp. The reason I participated in this camp was to help me to become a better leader and to get out of my comfort zone being able to talk and demonstrate things to people I do not know. With me participating in this camp it gave me confidence as a leader which will ultimately help me on the basketball court.
